Ms. Gay's 8th grade English classes presented a poetry reading Friday. Students read poetry they had written, as well as, poetry written by poets who inspired them. The readings were accompanied by the music of Mr. Henry Everett. The reading was attended by the 7th grade students of Banks Middle, as well as parents.
The students did a great job. Their poetry was both impressive and moving. Congratulations to Ms. Gay and the 8th grade for an excellent job.
